Atlanta Circumcision SurgeryNorth Pointe OB/GYN provides circumcision surgery for newborns and serves the residents of Cumming and the communities north of Atlanta. In addition to circumcision surgery, our practice offers a full range of Obstetrical care. Our medical team consists of four experienced Obstetricians and four Certified Nurse-Midwives. We support expectant mothers from conception to the confirmation of pregnancy through the delivery and in the case of male babies, the circumcision surgery in the hospital after the delivery.

Circumcision involves the surgical removal of the foreskin that covers the head of the penis. This procedure is primarily performed for hygiene, cultural and religious reasons, and is performed shortly after the birth in the hospital. Our doctors and Certified Nurse-Midwives deliver and perform circumcisions at the new, state-of-the-art Women’s Center at Northside Hospital-Forsyth. The facility features private labor-delivery-recovery rooms, private postpartum rooms, C-Section delivery rooms, a newborn nursery, a level II Neonatal Intermediate Care Unit, a Center for Perinatal Medicine, a lactation center and A Woman’s Place (specialty health care boutique).
