Atlanta Hormone Free ParaGard Birth Control

The physicians at North Pointe OB/GYN Associates are pleased to offer hormone free ParaGard ® birth control to patients in the communities north of Atlanta.  ParaGard ® is a hormone-free intrauterine contraceptive (IUC) that can be placed by your doctor in a routine office visit.  It starts working immediately and will protect you from pregnancy for as long as you wish up to ten years.

ParaGard ® is a flexible birth control option because it can be removed by your doctor at anytime if you decide you are ready to start trying to get pregnant. 

The practitioners at North Pointe OB/GYN Associates are highly trained and have extensive experience placing intrauterine contraceptives including ParaGard ® IUCs.  You should not use ParaGard ® birth control if you have pelvic inflammatory disease or certain types of cancers. Our physicians and Certified Nurse-Midwives are available to discuss birth control options, review your needs as well as your medical history, and help determine if ParaGard ® is right for you.
