Kay M. Owens, WHNP
Kay M. Owens, WHNP, started her career in women’s healthcare as an office nurse. She obtained her Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Colorado/Rocky Mountains Planned Parenthood in 1992 and continued to pursue her passion for obstetrics and gynecology in Colorado and California, working in health departments and private practice.
Upon relocating to Georgia in 1996, Kay worked with local physicians, preceptored Nurse Practitioner students, and was a guest speaker for several pharmaceutical companies in various women’s health topics. She is married, has three grown children and three grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves cooking, entertaining, and volunteering with CASA, dog rescue groups, and her local church.
