Linda Bell, C.N.M
Linda Bell, CNM was raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She began her career in nursing while in high school, working as an American Red Cross volunteer. In 1968, she headed south to Nursing School at Vanderbilt University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1972. While working as a Public Health Nurse in Tennessee she became interested in women’s healthcare. Thus, in 1974, she returned to school at Frontier Nursing Service in Kentucky where she received training as a family nurse practitioner and nurse-midwife. She became certified as a nurse-midwife in 1976.
After practicing as nurse-midwife in Tennessee, she came to Atlanta in 1977 and has been practicing in the area ever since. Although Linda is not currently delivering babies, she enjoys all aspects of women’s healthcare.
Linda lives in Decatur with her husband. They both love the outdoors and spend their spare time hiking and camping.
