If you live north of Atlanta and are interested in Mirena ® birth control, call North Pointe OB/GYN Associates.  Mirena ® is an Intrauterine Device (IUD) that releases small amounts of hormone to give you continuous birth control for as long as your want, up to five years.  It is more than 99% effective at preventing pregnancy, contains no estrogen, and can be removed by your healthcare provider at any time so you can try to have another child. 

The doctors and Certified Nurse-Midwives at North Pointe OB/GYN Associates are highly trained and experienced in inserting Mirena ® IUDs.  As no birth control is right for everyone and there are risks associated with Mirena ®, our providers are available to discuss your options for contraception and help determine if Mirena ®  is right for you.
